Even when I went, some of the younger ones were sick by the time they returned from the cave and returned by motorboat. There is also a way to get to the dock near the entrance to the Blue Cave by bus or taxi from the port. Or you may want to book your tour in packs in advance.

This place is amazing. Before jetting into the cave only when the water level lowers, you must lower your body as much as you can to avoid banging your head on the rocky cave opening. After you will see beautiful blue water, the color comes out from the bottom, as you try to relax but can't for being anxious of what else you might miss. The skipper also sing as he navigates you around this magical blue palace. Then you will laydown as much you can to exit the small opening as the water level drops to let you out into the Mediterranean Sea. Don't miss this adventue. Maybe a little overpriced as the skipper will wait to dock until you tip him.

I went in 2014. Wonderful, the only thing that when the tide rose, for 10 'we could not get out of the interior. The color of the water is beautiful.

Beautiful cave but who knows nothing but it is expensive then I infinitely prefer the cave of the Magician of the island of Ischia which is probably the most beautiful cave

A place to go!! Is a deep blue cavern with 9 mts deep blue water !!!! Small boat is an only way to go in with a chain to pull in order to move the boat....so lovely

A charming Grotto with neon Blu water which attracts a large number of tourists, but if you don't visit it you can't understand why it is so amazing!

Cave that deserves to be seen! Enchanting ..

Once in a lifetime it must be done because it is a spectacle of nature, but the stress of the experience is unmatched. The cave can be reached either by sea (tour of the island + stop at the cave) or on foot / bus from anacapri. We opted for the boat ride and in August we waited more than an hour under the sun to be able to access the boat that leads to the blue grotto. The cost is high: 18 euros around the island with a stop at the cave; 14 euros to enter the cave (4 euros for the nature reserve + 10 for the transport service on the boats, the boatman will still ask you for a tip at the exit). The visit lasts a maximum of 5 minutes. Inside the cave bathing is prohibited, unfortunately the boatmen take advantage of it and foreign tourists allow the bath in exchange for a profitable tip.

Enchanting and evocative place, high price (€ 14 each) but what do you do not enter !? On the other hand, the sailor who ferried us on the ferry who at the end of the visit (with a 5-minute journey earned 32 €) gave us "donuts that came out without a hole" because we didn't leave him a tip ...

Toursit trap to avoid. You can live without it and see it by pictures. Really. It is still beauty of nature but government feeds of those high fees as well (like capri taxi prices as well, scandalous) Already you pay 14€ per person and the rowboat sailors start soliciting ridiculous amounts of tip from start to end and you don’t wanna see them upset if they get from little to 0 tip. They have a salary so... (I’m not being stingy)Don’t fall for that people. Not worth queuing for even more than an hour for a 5 minute rowboat tour. Avoid, avoid! There are plenty of other grotte all around the island and you can swim through and around them for free.

Simple magnificent. A gift from the Gods! We visited here a couple years ago and our trip was enchanting. A must see. Pay for a charter trip. You won't regret it.

It was in 1987, I passed by the cave, wonderful blue waters.

There was a crowd to get in so I had to float for hours. Then, the place was packed so it was noisy and not the experience I expected.

The most BEAUTIFUL thing I've ever seen. I had a spiritual experience here. It's mesmerizing and incredibly AWESOME. If you are fortunate enough to go when the cave is accessible, you must go! You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. SIMPLY PHENOMENAL.

You get a boat ride accross to the Blue Grotto which is probably the nicest part of the trip. You've to wait then with many other boats in order get into the blue grotto. My girlfriend and I were put into a snall rowing boat with an other couple. You then have to pay to get into the blue grotto and then the rower also demands a tip. You row around the blue grotto for about 4-5 minutes and then its over. Its more or less a tourist trap, couldnt recommend it less to be honest. If you're looking for a good experience id adivse going to some of the other caves dotted around the island dont fall trap to this cave just because its popular as its not worth it

Unique experience of lying down completely in the small boat to go inside the small cave full of blue water.

The blue grotto is one of the most beautiful caves I've ever been to. The wait (in a boat) is one of the longest that I've ever experienced, but it was worth it. The way the water reflects the sunlight is just so mesmerizing. The blue grotto is such an iconic landmark in Capri, so it would be stupid not to visit it. Would definitely recommend going through it.

Incredibily unique place to discover. It is a must thing to do while exploring Capri. The perfect time to enter is in the evening when there are less visitors. Absolutely recommended!

Take a boat ride to enjoy the coastal scenery and the limestone terrain of Capri Island, and then go to the Blue Cave~ because you have to change the boat into the Blue Hole. At that time, there were more tourists and waited for half an hour to get on the boat. After boarding the boat, the boatman will first open to the ticket-purchasing area to let us buy tickets, then wait for the queue to enter the blue hole, and finally come to the blue hole that I dreamed of. The blue water and the light of the sun shine on the hole, the color like a gemstone shines. The beauty is not true, it seems to be in a dream. The blue hole is not big, the boatman will make two rounds, and the trip to the blue hole is probably no more than ten minutes, but the charge is very expensive. Generally speaking, the boatman's tip is 5 euros per person, but the boatman who meets the friends of the same company asks everyone to tip 10 euros. The blue hole ticket is not cheap, and it is really not necessary to kill tourists.

This was the biggest rip off and biggest disappointment of my entire holiday. You paid 26 euros to get from one boat to another and spend all of about 3 minutes in a pitch black cave with some blue water. The guy rowing the second boat was useless and expected a tip- I don't think so! There are plenty of better ways to spend an afternoon in Capri than waste it here!

One of the neatest experiences of my life; beautiful with funny, experienced guides who sang Italian songs in the reverberating caves. I’ll never forget it!

Not worth the long wait and the hostage situation u will endure when they demand a tip "30-60%". Capri needs to clean this operation up because this 1 part of our day cast a whole black cloud on our whole experience there.
